Papergraphics introduces inkjet printable roller-blind material

At Sign and Digital UK Papergraphics debuted Decortex roller-blind fabrics to complement its Digimura wallcoverings. The material can be printed using latex, UV or eco-solvent ink wide-format printers.

John Selby, CEO of Papergraphics, said: “We have spent time researching the roller-blind market and understanding the demand for personalised products in the commercial and home sectors. The opportunities are vast and we truly believe we have created a product that will be the next big thing in digital interiors.”

The blinds fabric is available in two options: Decortex 1.1, a one-sided option; and blackout Decortex 2.2, which can be printed on both sides. Both have a bi-directional weave that help the blinds stay flat regardless of print direction and are BS5867 Part 2 (curtains, drapes and window blinds) fire-rated for commercial use and public spaces, even when printed.

A new mobile demonstration vehicle will begin continuously touring the country following Sign and Digital UK.
