The Versa Tech 2 developed by Blackman and White in conjunction with US-based MCT - and which won the SGIA Product of the Year Award for Finishing-Routers/Cutters - is being introduced into Europe at Fespa 2017.
The unit can be fitted with a number of tools including a driven rotary cutter, tangential drag knife, oscillating knife, kiss-cutting tool, pen plotting, angle-V cutting, crease tool, 100w CO2 laser and a 5kw water-cooled router.
A strengthened beam and improved rack and pinion drive system allow it to move at an acceleration of 1.25g and speeds of 2000mm/second.
Workflow features include Tiger Pack and Tilia Griffin for Tiger Vision as well as PDF and integration with leading RIP manufacturers for print, and Tiger Vision for cutting.
