Nominations sought for Victor Watson Trophy

Nominations are being sought for an award to recognise a young person of outstanding achievement in print - an award launched in memory of Victor Watson CBE DL. The deadline for nominations is Tuesday 20 June 2017 by 5pm.

The award It is open to anyone under the age of 31 at the time of the presentation in London on 4 July, and who is employed in the printing industry - which includes the printing supply chain from journalism through all aspects of printing and allied trades such as operating kit, driving, cleaning, advertising, photography, graphic arts, making ink and recycling paper.

The nominator and nominee do not have to be associated with any particular organization though the award is supported by the BPIF, The Printing Charity and The Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards. The recipient of the award will be encouraged to apply for a Printing Charity bursary of £1,500.
