Neolt's AsterJet takes off

Viscom Italy saw the international launch of the Neolt AsterJet 1650 wide-format UV-curable ink-jet printer which incorporates Xaar's binary Proton 360 x 1440 dpi print-heads and is available in four- and six-colour options.

This 1.65 m roll-to-roll unit features productivity of up to 50 square m/hour and is configured to use INX Digital UV-curable inks. The Neolt AsterJet 1650 also is optimised to be used with Onyx's software RIP which the manufacturer claims is designed to be easy to use with good workflow efficiency.
With the machine being manufactured in Bergamo, Italy, managing director Sergio Ferrari states that the AsterJet 1650 is a synthesis of Neolt's response to market demand for the productivity needs and investment capacities of small and medium sized companies.
