Fabriplas UK has purchased a Kongsberg X24 Edge from CMYUK. Founded 5 years ago in Bolton, the business was originally established as a plastics supplier and fabricator. Mimaki digital print technology was implemented to print graphics for the manufactured retail units, but as customers started requesting more services, it became clear that the digital printing services could thrive as a business in its own right, and Creative Graphics Northwest was launched.

Portable Trade Display Solutions provider, Very Displays, has purchased their first Agfa printer. An Agfa Avinci CX3200 Dye Sublimation wide-format printer was installed at their Market Harborough production facility in February.

Spanish wide format specialist Oedim has once again partnered with Fujifilm to expand its fleet of Acuity wide format printers to increase productivity and support its growth.

Following the successful installation of their first InterioJet press in 2021, décor paper printing company Chiyoda has acquired a second InterioJet water-based inkjet printing press from Agfa to enhance its laminate décor paper print production capabilities.

Widd Signs has invested in a second Mimaki UCJV300-160 UV LED printer  from CMYUK.  The installation comes 3 years after the business bought its first Mimaki printer of the same model, again from CMYUK. Offering versatile productivity, this printer offers the ability to print and cut in a single unit. Purchased to respond to growing demand, it will increase production capacity and turnaround.

UK-based social enterprise Nuneaton Signs has invested in a Fujifilm Acuity Prime 30 flatbed printer to support its business growth and product sales.

Solihull-based Shift Graphics has invested in a Mimaki UJV 100-160 UV LED printer and Mimaki CG 130 AR cutting plotter from CMYUK. The new equipment has enabled this start-up to produce fast turnaround vinyl graphics in-house up to 1.6m wide for the exhibitions sector.

Falkirk-based Elevate Signs and Graphics has hailed the impact of its new HP Latex 335 printer, revealing how the machine has allowed the company to bring a large amount of printing work in house and to explore opportunities in new markets.
