Irish cream

The main show in the Ireland print calendar is about to take place. Here's what you can expect from Sign and Digital Ireland 2009.
It's all about opportunity and how to make the most of what you've got. That's the focus of Sign and Digital Ireland/Print Ireland 2009 which takes place in Dublin from 23 - 24 September. In the two years since the last show (then known as Sign Ireland, Digital Ireland and Print Ireland) there have been many developments - technology has come a long way and the shape of the market has changed, and for those of you based in Ireland, this event will provide the best local opportunity to see the impact of that. Following rather swiftly on the heels of its bigger brother, Sign and Digital UK in April (and the more European-wide Fespa Digital in Amsterdam in May), the Ireland show is unlikely to throw up any really major launches, but you will get the chance to see many of those introduced earlier in the year and to see various live demo's etc. Plus you have that allimportant chance to network and seek out new business opportunities. Alan Caddick, marketing manager for the event, stresses the 'opportunities' theme, saying: "Visitors will be able to find ideas to create new revenue streams, learn how to tap into new markets and hear from the experts on how to get more from equipment.
