The 2013 EDP Awards winners are...

The EDP, or to give it its full title, the European Digital Press Association, has grown from strength to strength with 20 member magazines (Image Reports is the EDP member for the UK) covering 23 countries in Europe, representing over 1 million readers.  Each year the EDP comes together to debate, discuss and award the best in innovative technology within the digital printing market.

Following a pre selection by the EDP technical committee, the association’s general assembly (made up of a representative of each European publication) has the last word in giving any award to the nominated products, making the EDP awards well prized accolades.

Rudolf Messer, president of the EDP, said of this year’s winners: “The very worthy winners have demonstrated that by focusing investment in research and development they can continue to bring innovative products to market that truly make a difference to their customers businesses. We’re delighted to be working with our host Fespa in 2013 and congratulate all our winners and nominated finalists.”

Felton, in his welcome statement emphasized the importance of trade magazines and the role they play in the communication between suppliers and users.
