Oce Colorado 1650 launches at Fespa Global

Canon UK has launched the Oce Colorado 1650 printer, extending its roll-to-roll large-format offering based on its UVgel technology. The 64in-wide Océ Colorado 1650 introduces a new flexible ink and Oce FLXfinish – a new approach to LED curing that allows the user to choose between matte or gloss modes for each individual print.

Océ FLXfinish technology also enables printing on porous media by enabling each ink droplet to be ‘fixed’ immediately on jetting. The Océ Colorado 1640 model is also on display at Fespa producing POS materials with automated inline cutting using technology from Canon finishing partner Fotoba.
