PrintFactory appoints Colourgen as distributor

Colourgen is to distribute PrintFactory workflow software in the UK and Ireland. The intention is for Colourgen - newly acquired by the massive Westcoast Group - to help the Netherlands-based software producer develop its reseller channels, working in tandem with PrintFactory's HP and Jetrix distribution-base.

“We’ve worked hard to develop our reputation for partnering with the right manufacturers and brands of wide-format Rips, printers, finishing systems and consumables - helping our customers to get the best from their products,” said Mark Lambert, MD of Colourgen. “We know this suite of tools will make production teams’ lives easier and, very simply, deliver a much better finished product for their end-customers, too. The software’s colour management features are really going to open some eyes.” PrintFactory is a SaaS-based suite of tools that includes an editing package, nesting and tiling capability, and device-link colour profiling.
