Eurolaser wins innovation accolade

Laser cutting system specialist Eurolaser has been named one of the winners of this year's Top 100 innovation competition.

This is the 26th year for the competition, in which an independent jury examines the innovation management of medium-sized companies and their success on the basis of holistic scientific criteria. Awards were presented at a ceremony during the recent 6th German Medium-Sized Business Summit in Frankfurt. Eurolaser has been developing, producing and selling laser cutting systems since 1994. The jury was particularly impressed with the company’s material certification programme, whereby media manufacturers are invited to submit samples to the Eurolaser application centre in Lueneburg, Germany. There, specialists test the laser cutting properties and determine the most favourable cutting parameters. The material receives a certificate of laser suitability and the information is stored in a central database, providing users of Eurolaser’s cutters with information on optimal cutting parameters.
