viscom sees earlier than expected changes

viscom, which joined with the PSI and PromoTex Expo trade events last time around, has announced more changes for 2020 (7-9 January, Messe Dusseldorf).

viscom has found its new home in Hall 13 of the Messe, which is accessible via entrances Ost and Nord-Ost and located in the immediate vicinity of PromoTex Expo and PSI. Two walkways create a direct connection between the events. PromoTex Expo will move to Hall 12 and thereby shifting closer to PSI. “The optimised allocation of hall space allows us to maintain the independence of PromoTex Expo within the alliance, on the one hand, and to ensure the proximity with PSI called for by the market,” said event director Petra Lassahn. “Upon the request of both exhibitors and visitors we will implement this adjustment in 2020, one year earlier than planned.” Central to viscom will be an enlarged workshop, following its debut in 2019. Visitors will have the opportunity to wrap walls, print personalised wallpaper, large-format posters or banners and produce illuminated letters and tenter frames. A special attraction will be the ‘Make your Shirt” area. Various competition will also feature at the show.
