CMYUK adds industrial sewing machine to its stable

CMYUK has become the exclusive distributor in the UK and Ireland for the ASA 3010 TPL-KC conveyorised industrial sewing machine from AE Sewing Machines.

The ASA 3010 TPL-KC - designed specifically for digitally printed signs and banners - ensures flat seams are achieved on textile-based applications such as silicon/PVC beading or keder attaching, hemming, Velcro and the like. The ASA 3010 TPL-KC comprises a twin needle lockstitch head from sewing machine manufacturer Juki, attached to AE Sewing Machines’ ASA tactile and robust conveyor. Built from British-made components, the conveyor measures 3m x 1m, has powdered coated steel covers and lockable wheels. Automatic synchronicity between sewing machine and conveyor is controlled centrally from the Advanced Sewing Automation touchscreen, ensuring the material being sewn is travelling at the same speed as the conveyor. A high grip silicon belt assures that graphics remain flat and even during travel. A number of optional fittings are available, such as attachments for different sized hems. These slot into place using a magnetic guidance system. The system is designed for simplicity of operation and users do not need to be qualified sewing operatives.
