Roland DG expands its TrueVis range with SG2 Series

Roland DG has added 64in, 54in and 30in-wide SG2 Series eco-solvent printer/cutters to its TrueVis range.

A new ink delivery system is said to reduce ink consumption by up to 54% due to automated maintenance sequences. The four-colour SG2 machines use new TR2 ink, and a newly developed True Rich Color preset. The SG2 and new TR2 ink is certified by the 3M MCS Warranty and by the Avery Dennison ICS performance guarantee. Output is also certified Greenguard Gold for safe indoor graphic applications, even in sensitive locations such as schools and hospitals. The SG2 machines have a newly developed automatic pinch roller system requiring minimal operator intervention, and a precision perforated cut function for providing die-cut labels/decals without the need for trimming. There’s also an optional take-up unit - supporting two modes, according to the type of media chosen.
