Protect Safety Signs, a supplier of temporary traffic management signs to the emergency services sector, has installed two Océ Colorado 1640 printers.to double the efficiency of its production process and increase its print capacity.
General manager Andy Roberts said of the new machines, bought via Canon’s partner ADAPT (Amari Digital Printing Technologies): “We are extremely happy with the Colorado 1640s. Before working with Canon, we had never been able to reliably print and rewind a whole 50m roll of printed media. But, the Colorado 1640 has transformed our print capabilities and we can now print much faster - 114m² per hour - without the level of quality being compromised. This change has been such a positive step for the business and we are extremely impressed with the outcome.”
