YPS adds DGI Poseidon dye-sub printer to its offering

Your Print Specialists (YPS) has added the 1.6m wide DGI Poseidon textile printer to its offering.
The dye-sublimation machine, from South Korean manufacturer DGI and officially launched at Itma in the summer, offers production speeds of 80 -120m2/hr. The company has also launched an ‘SE’ enhanced version of the printer, which incorporates an additional printhead for a spot colour or fluorescent ink alongside the basic CMYK. YPS sales director, Georgia Brown, said of the addition: “What’s happening in the textile market is really exciting. The possibilities for end users has never been so extensive and YPS is focused on identifying and supplying a broad range of top quality products. We are now working with DGI’s UK distributor, Sabur Inks, and we have identified that the quality, reliability and capabilities of their printers are exactly what our customers are looking for.” The DGI Poseidon printer uses the same Kyocera printheads that DGI also uses in its HSFT III and FH-3204 3.2m sublimation printers. Later in the year a mini jumbo roll unit will be available with the ability to load 2,500 linear metres of transfer sublimation paper to the Poseidon.
