Pupils at a Staffordshire primary school have created a display on British values using a donation of Libra board from Antalis and cutting services from Zund.
Pupils at Fulfen Primary School decorated 70 pre-cut jigsaw-shaped pieces of the board to illustrate values such as inclusion, caring, lifelong learning, aspiration and tolerance.
Joanne Ashcroft, the teacher who first got in touch with Antalis to see if it would be able to supply any materials cost free, said: “We really appreciated the support and the generosity. All the children involved in the project are delighted with what they have been able to create with the pieces. We have now pieced the boards together to create an interlocking display of the children’s illustrations of the values.”
Katie Farr, strategic marketing manager of Antalis, added: “When the school contacted us, we were only too pleased to help. Libra board was the ideal product because as well as being high white to perfectly show off the children’s illustrations and collages, it is also fully recyclable and biodegradable.”
