ISA-UK postpones its first Sign and Print Awards

ISA-UK is postponing its inaugural Sign and Print Awards, scheduled for 25 November, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Entry to the 2020 awards was due to open in June. “But due to this unprecedented crisis, instead of thinking about submitting work to an awards scheme, business owners are, quite rightly, more concerned about staying afloat and keeping their staff in jobs,” said ISA-UK president Robert Lambie. “It would seem insensitive of us to promote our awards scheme when many colleagues and friends in the sector are worried about, and grieving for, loved ones affected by Covid-19,” continued Lambie. “Out of respect for those in the sign and print industry who are struggling, we’re postponing the entire 2020 ISA-UK Sign and Print Awards - not just the gala event. We will decide on a 2021 date once we have a clearer view from the Government and World Health Organisation of how and when the UK can begin to return to some semblance of normality.”
