The new subsidiary, based in Bracknell, Berkshire, has a demonstration suite alongside sales and marketing offices and a warehouse for consumables and spare parts.
The UK team is headed by Erskine Stewart as MD. Sales in the north will be handled by Ian Maxfield, and Steven Pridham will look after business in the south. The service manager is Simon Averell and service technician is Keith Apps. Jenny Williams is operations coordinator, and Annamaria Horvath is application engineer.
“SwissQprint UK will provide direct, comprehensive and fast service to the UK market while development and production remain in Switzerland,” said Stewart. “The UK is a very important market for the company. Our mission is to continue to provide our customers with ongoing expert service for them to get the best out of their investment, while at the same time growing our market share in the commercial printing arena. We will also be increasing our focus on the packaging, specialist print and industrial sectors where I believe we can also be extremely successful.”
