Epson merges Robustelli and For.Tex

Epson is merging textile print subsidiaries Fratelli Robustelli and For.Tex. Completion is expected by the end of the year and according to a statement will “position them to provide even better need-based solutions for inkjet digital printers, consumables, and services.”

Robustelli develops and manufactures textile printers while For.Tex engages primarily in textile ink sales and support. Both are based in the Como region of Italy. Epson sees textile printing as one of the most promising growth areas for its printing solutions business and substantial opportunity to leverage its inkjet technology to expand its business.
