Flag firm MD meets Everest challenge
Hampshire Flag's managing director Graham Wilkinson has completed a tough two-week trek to the base camp of Mount Everest. Wilkinson, who braved temperatures of -20 and battled with altitude sickness during the expedition, stayed true to his flag manufacturing roots by taking with him a digital printed flag emblazoned with the Hampshire Flag logo.
Wilkinson said: "We have given so much support to determined and brave individuals who push themselves to the extreme in order to raise money and awareness for what they believe in. I have been inspired by each and every one of these people and now I have fulfilled this dream, it has whetted my appetite for the next challenge!".
Hampshire Flag supports various charities and expeditions including the on-going campaigns of swimmer and environmentalist Lewis Pugh, Action for Kids, Help for Heroes, Samaritans and Gumboots by donating an array of flag products.?
