Hollywood Monster rejects PVC banner

As of 1 March Hollywood Monster will cease to use PVC media for banner work. All its internal and external banner projects will be printed on PVC-free Kavalan.  The migration represents about 350,000m2 based on pre-Covid-19 annual volumes.

MD Simon McKenzie said: “We have immense confidence in the product. We have been testing and championing it for over a year and now is the time to make a change. Many of our clients have been asking for a viable alternative to PVC, and they trust us to deliver.

“Cost-wise too it’s making sense, and economies of scale will rapidly turn Kavalan into a cost neutral exercise.”

Kavalan - which has various eco-accreditations - is supplied by CMYUK, which has partnered with How to Recycle to ensure the product ends up as being 100% recycled.

“We feel that end-of-life guarantee is the final piece of the jigsaw,” said McKenzie.
