Sarah Winterbottom becomes Josero MD

Sarah Winterbottom is taking over as MD of Josero, replacing founder Loic Delor in the role. He is stepping back from the day-to-day running of the business to focus on product development and special projects, and will remain a director of the wide-format equipment distributor.

The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the pace of change within Josero, prompting the official implement the new leadership structure. Winterbottom, formerly business development manager, has been acting MD since 4 January this year. The promotion will become official on 6 April 2021.  Roger Sherratt will join the Josero sales team in April too.

Delor, who founded Josero in 2003 and has held the MD role since the company’s inception, will focus on Josero’s spare parts online shop - Josero Spares - stating that e-commerce growth and the events of the past year have highlighted the need for further development in this aspect of the business. Additionally, the change will allow Delor to address any Brexit complications that may impact Josero’s significant business on the continent.

Winterbottom said: “It has been an interesting few months but I am pleased with the developments we have made during this challenging time, and I am looking forward to planning for the months and years ahead. I would also like to thank our customers and suppliers, without whom none of it would be possible, for their ongoing support.”
