ArtSystems adds HP ColorPro-based media to Xativa range

ArtSystems has been chosen by HP to bring its wide format media with ColorPro Technology into the UK and Ireland. This new range will be promoted within ArtSystems' Xativa media brand.

The new products have been developed to optimise colour saturation, sharpness and durability. They are also a PVC-free alternative, whilst being odourless, and mould- and mildew-resistant.

The first range to be launched will be Xativa Wallpaper with ColorPro Technology, featuring three new products. The first is a PVC-free durable wallpaper which uses third generation latex inks to give fade resistance up to 20 years. It meets the flame retardant standard Class A and is available in smooth and suede finishes.

The second is a PVC-free wallpaper pre-pasted for easy application and giving up to 20 years of indoor lightfastness with HP Latex ink. It's available in a smooth finish and is flame retardant with Class A EN13051-1 certification.

The third is a PVC-free durable wallpaper with a non-woven base that's more stable than a paper base for long-term applications. It's easy to install, washable and has good scratch and abrasion resistance. It offers up to 20 years of indoor lightfastness with HP Latex inks and complies with flame retardant standards Class A EN13051-1.

Paul Tarry, consumable division manager at ArtSystems, said: "There has been a growing demand for designers and print service providers for wall covering media that can take full advantage of HP Latex Ink technology. We now have that solution for them with the Xativa Wallpaper with ColorPro Technology range of products."

ArtSystems is running a swatch and sample roll programme for resellers and users.
