Action Screen invests in the future with Fujifilm Acuity Advance X2
Action Screen in Corby has bought an Acuity Advance X2 UV flatbed printer to sit alongside its roll-to-roll machines as it expands its digital wide-format services offering. "We realised the need to invest in a UV flatbed printer to stay competitive and up-to-date," said technical sales director Vince Meeks.
"We tested almost every wide-format UV flatbed printer on the market that met our requirements, but it quickly became apparent that the Acuity Advance X2 was by far the best choice for us. Its added white option means that we don't have to compromise on our ability to print white, something which we've been able to do for a long time with screen printing."
The Fujifilm Acuity Advance X2 machine has a 2.5 x 3.05m print area and prints at a speed up to 22m2/hr in production mode (15m2/hr in high quality mode) with an additional white ink option complementing the CMYK colour set.?
