Reddhart Graphics orders Europe's first Roland VersaCamm VS-640

Reddhart Graphics in Essex has bought Europe's first Roland VersaCamm VS-640. The company has plumped for the eight-colour version of the new machine, giving it white and metallic ink capability.

Due for installation in May, the printer will replace the design and print company's existing Roland VP300 roll-to-roll printer with which Reddhart directors Steve Hart and Adam Reddington began the business less than two years ago. The VersaCamm VS-640, supplied by printMax, will be used to produce a mix of graphics for the retail sector and for trade customers.

"The new machine is faster and wider than the VP300 and of course provides that all-important white and silver capability which was a real attraction to Reddhart," said printMax MD Michael Bolton.
