Roland DG has announced the opening of new and upgraded physical showrooms in the UK and Denmark, with Spain to follow before the end of the year.
The spaces in Bristol, Barcelona and Copenhagen, have been designed to be “dynamic, ‘happening’ hubs that bring together technology, colleagues, dealers, partners and customers”. All three upgraded showrooms share the same look and feel, so every customer can have the same Roland experience wherever they are.
The showrooms use digital technology to enhance and showcase Roland DG’s solutions. RFID walls feature interactive tiles which help customers to understand more about applications. There’s the opportunity for self-guided or assisted exploration of substrates, industries, technologies, and printers. Visitors can place a detachable tile on the RFID reader to view information on the chosen topic, including descriptions and photos and videos of Roland DG solutions. Touchscreens allow visitors to interactively view 3D models of Roland DG machines, and explore their features and benefits.
To provide the same interactive experience to customers digitally, Roland DG also recently launched its virtual showroom.
