For a second consecutive year Ricoh has been selected for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World).
This year, DJSI reviewed approximately 3,500 companies worldwide, selecting 322 companies to the DJSI World Index. As of 12 November 2021, Ricoh achieved the highest score out of 34 companies in the computers and peripherals and office electronics industry in the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment, and obtained the top score in the following ten categories - risk and crisis management, supply chain management, innovation management, environmental reporting, product stewardship, climate strategy, social reporting, talent attraction and retention, corporate citizenship and social contribution, and living wage.
In addition to the DJSI World Index, the DJSI Asia/Pacific Index included Ricoh for the last four consecutive years.
Ricoh has identified seven material issues to resolve social issues through business and maintain a robust management infrastructure. The Group’s 17 ESG targets are linked to each material issue and embedded across all business operations. Ricoh is also committed to contributing to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
