Paragon Group has acquired Dean Packaging, a UK manufacturer and distributor of packaging materials. The deal, concluded on 7 April, builds on the 2020 acquisition of Trenton and the group’s organic growth in terms of packaging.
John Rogers, executive director of corporate development at Paragon, said: “The group intends to continue its acquisitive and organic growth in packaging in the UK and across Europe to help strengthen its customer offering and broaden its range of solutions, in line with the its ‘buy, build and grow’ strategy.”
Dean Packaging operates from south Wales and provides a full-service offering, from concept through to full supply chain management. Ian Kennedy and Iain Paget will continue to lead Dean Packaging, and with the support of the Trenton team, will look to accelerate its growth and expand its service offering to Paragon’s customers.
