Summa premiere at Fespa

Summa premiere at Fespa

At Fespa 2010, Summa will release its latest Summa F Series cutter developments, including the F1612, the company's first flatbed cutter first introduced at ISA International Sign Expo 2010 in Florida earlier this year. On this flatbed cutter up to three work modules with different working tools can be mounted at once.

The F1612 has a work area of 160 x 120cm and a conveyor belt system for roll?

applications. On the modular head, up to three work modules can be mounted at once. Thanks to a tool barcode IDs, the machine always knows which tools are installed.?

It's also possible to mount a heavy duty tangential module. With this several tools can be mounted, e.g. a static knife, a pressure controlled knife or a creaser (to make folds in cardboard). With these tools it's possible to cut a whole range of materials up to several millimeters thick: roll-material, plastics, cardboard, foam board etc.?

Pricing is not yet set but Summa expects that a basic table would start around 30,000 Euros.?

The target is to ship the first machines in the last quarter of this calendar year.?
