Hexis launches new vehicle wrap films

Hexis will use the forthcoming Viscom show in Paris to launch a latex digital printing film and gloss laminate destined for vehicle wrapping applications. Both films are PVC-free and do not contain any solvents, plasticisers or heavy metals. The compound is flexible and conformable enough to be suitable for car wraps and in general applications that demand a conformable film. At Viscom Hexis will use an all-electric Tesla roadster to demonstrate the new films and emphasise their environment-friendly qualities.

The new HXL300WG2 has a thickness of 100µm and boasts a printed and laminated vertical outdoor exposure of three years. It can be printed with all types of solvent and eco-solvent inks including Mutoh bio inks and HP latex ink.

The HXL300WG2 is for dry application only and it carries the proven Hex’Press structured adhesive and PE-liner to make the film repositionable during application and ease egress of any trapped air bubbles.
