Viscom 2011 plans unveiled
Details are emerging of Viscom 2011, which takes place 13 - 15 October in Düsseldorf, Germany. While around 350 exhibitors are expected the organiser, Reed Exhibitions, is placing emphasis on the show’s support programme of events such as Lunch and Learn, Textile Summit and Customised Printing Workshop.
Lunch and Learn, which takes place every day between noon and 1pm, allows exhibitors to have lunch with up to ten people and present their topics, listen to the opinions of their customers and discuss ideas for new products.
For the first time, the Textile Summit will also be held at Viscom. The topics here are trends and innovations in textile printing, modern materials, processing possibilities and printing technologies.
Participants in the Customised Printing Workshop will hear lectures on customising and finishing technologies, production processes and machine technology and present customised furnishing solutions and designs for shops and exhibitions. The exhibitors will also take part presenting up-to-date practical examples.
