Hexis targets wall graphics markets

Hexis is targeting the wall graphics market with two new products: the snappily named VCSR100WG1 printable cast vinyl for direct application onto brick, concrete or plaster walls; and Poli-Wall, a digital wall covering that has been especially developed for printing on solvent, eco-solvent and UV curable inkjet printers.

The VCSR100WG1 film is made of a highly conformable 50?m cadmium-free cast vinyl and it carries a high tack adhesive to ensure adhesion on such irregular surfaces. The film can be used without laminate, but in order to achieve longer durability Hexis recommends lamination with one of its cast laminates PC30G2 (gloss finish) or PC30M2 (matt finish). Hexis also provides a set of dedicated brushes and tools for surface preparation and application.

The product, which comes in rolls 1370mm wide and 45m, 10m and 5m long, is suitable for solvent and eco-solvent inkjet printers. Hexis supplies specific ICC colour profiles for most printer and Rip combinations.

Poli-Wall uses a special paper-fleece backing with an embossed PVC-topcoat for maximum print quality and it has a soft touch. The product range boasts 11 different patterns or finishes and is available in white or silver. Not only can Poli-Wall be digitally printed, it is also a suitable substrate for acrylic or dispersion paints making it suitable for custom mural painting.

The Poli-Wall can be wiped clean and will not damage surfaces when it is removed. It is available at 1370mm x 25m from stock.
