Handi finishing tools shown at Sign Ireland
Tools for mounting, laminating and masking - and costing under ?100 - were launched at Sign Ireland by Atech.
The new Handi range comprises five products. First up is the laminator tool which has a roll holder making materials easier to handle. It comes in sizes from 26in to 64in. The Handi cut vinyl tool looks very much like the laminator tool with the addition of black felt covering on both edges. ?Designed to work primarily with cut vinyl, it will apply transfer tape both by pushing the roll ahead of the tool or by placing the roll in the roll holder and applied off the back of the tool. It comes in two sizes and is limited to 30in width of application.?
The rivet tool, for use on small signs that don't require that the graphic be rolled up, has a padded edge with felt for going over obstacles such as rivets. The slim felt edge will apply masking and vinyl. The small sign tool has a cotton-covered edge for laminating. Again, a felt edge will apply masking and vinyl. The cradle tool is lightweight and is pushed without the need to pick it up. It is available in all the sizes of the other tools.
