SwissQprint’s new Oryx LED printer is slated to hit the market in November. The machine has a 2.5 x 2m print-bed and has a top speed of 65m2/hr. Sitting alongside the 2.5 x 2m bed, 180m2/hr Impala LED and 3.2 x 2m bed, 206m2/hr Nyala LED, the company said the trio covers practically every level of productivity that a print services provider might now have or aim for.
Maurus Zeller, head of product management, said: “Each machine is built to customer requirements and may have options added at any time thereafter. This could mean an individual ink configuration - swissQprint machines offer nine colour channels - or the types of applications it can handle: choices here include an option for roll media, the board option for oversized formats up to 4m long, and even a loading and unloading robot. The idea is to give users a system that always matches their needs and budget.”
