Large-format 3D printer partnership formed

XYZprinting, a desktop 3D printer brand, has formed a strategic alliance with Sicnova as part of its expansion into the large-format 3D printer market.

The partnership with Sicnova - a provider of 3D printers with the ability to print objects of up to 1,000 x 600 x 600mm at speeds of 1,00cm/hr - will expand the availability of industrial strength plastic production systems under the XYZprinting brand. These printers are specifically tailored for manufacturing jigs and fixtures for functional end use parts. With Sicnova’s 3D printers as part of XYZprinting’s own branded portfolio, the aims to take its digital manufacturing capabilities to the next level, leveraging some of the largest format precision engineered plastics printers available. XYZprinting plans to bring to market its own branded version of the JCR 1000 and JCR 600 printer in second half of 2018 and sell them through an expanding professional 3D printing channel.
