Caldera’s Rip and workflow products for graphic arts printers now support Canon’s UVgel-based Oce Colorado 1640. The driver is available for immediate download.
The latest versions of the Caldera V11.1 suite and its family, including GrandRip+ and VisualRip+, all contain features designed to optimise the productivity and performance of the Canon range. “Caldera users can be totally confident that combining their existing V11 software with Canon’s new platform will ensure they are maximising their investment,” said Arnaud Fabre, product manager for Rip solutions, Caldera.

Canon’s UVgel technology sets out ensure durable, high quality prints while conserving the ink’s versatility. When coupled with Caldera’s V11.1 colour control users of the Colorado 1640 can achieve smooth gradients and benefit from extended spot colour handling. The suite also has ink economy options.
