Epson targets fine art market with new paper range
Epson has brought out a range of fine art papers optimised for use with its UltraChrome ink technology. The four new 100% cotton papers are PH buffered and free from linen and acid, with a specially developed coating to give a wide colour gamut and high D-Max.
The range includes a 330gsm Hot Press Natural paper that provides a smooth surface, and a 340gsm Cold Press Natural paper with a textured surface, both with a warm white point to produce a museum grade finish. Hot Press Bright and Cold Press Bright papers provide a bright white point.?
The substrates are available in a wide range of sizes through Epson resellers. Only A3+ and A2 cut-sheets will be available at launch, with rolls available early 2010.
