Delta Group takes HP Scitex 17000 Flex

The Delta Group has taken a HP Scitex 17000 Flex to improve its digital flexibility and to offer decorated box and display applications.
The machine is the 11th industrial flatbed purchased from HP by the group - parent of Lick Creative, Delta Display and MPD Fulfillment - and joins other devices at the company’s 27870m2 production site in London. “The HP Scitex 17000 Flex’s patented vacuum system handles difficult media without any drama, something our customers demand,” said Martin Shipp, COO at Delta. “HP has proven itself over the years to be a partner of growing importance to us. Our industry is constantly evolving, and with the help of HP we are able to stay on top of our ever-growing production schedules.” The group expects to take advantage of the system’s integrated automated loading (of paper and corrugated board) at a rate of up to 200 beds per hour.
