Taylor Bloxham celebrates milestone with highest ever turnover

Taylor Bloxham Group is celebrating 80 years in business this year by announcing its highest ever turnover - in excess of £27m for the financial year ending September 2017 - and with CEO Robert Lockwood claiming: “Everything is in place to make 2018 our most profitable year yet.”
In its first year of trading the company - founded in 1938 by compositor Herbert Taylor and machine minder Harold Bloxham and now owned by the Sharpless family - turned over £2,631. It now comprises four divisions - Taylor Bloxham printing, FastAnt fulfilment and e-commerce division, Instore design and PoP operation, and the newly created direct mail brand Mailbox – and employs more than 200. “While the growth of the Taylor Bloxham Group has been exciting to be part of, I’m pleased to be able to say that we remain true to our core values of high quality service and investment. This has enabled us to adapt and innovate to ensure that we meet the needs of 21st century companies. My father Bruce (MD from 1970) played an important part in the vision for the company and I am delighted to play a part in maintaining his legacy,” said group chairman April Moss. Lockwood added: “Herbert, Harold and Bruce realised that investment was needed to make a transition from the traditional letterpress to litho. We have continued that commitment by investing in digital technology to ensure we lead the market.”
