GMG ColorProof 5.10 sports improved layout tools and workflow automation

To close the gap between traditional proofing and mockup creation the new GMG ColorProof 5.10 and GMG OpenColor 2.1.5 support Epson SC-S80600 for the creation of colour accurate and reproducible prints.

Product manager Jens Bloeck said: "We implemented numerous customer requests into version 5.10. For example, the automatic image placement of the Manual Job Manager provides new possibilities to optimise job layouts and minimise paper usage." To configure workflows more efficiently, spot colour sets can now be copied from one workflow or printer to another. It's also possible to assign spot colour sets to all connected printers. In addition, custom spot colours can be defined directly in the channel mapping. As these colours are excluded from validation via spot colour strips, cutter and mark-up colours can be defined conveniently as Lab or CMYK without changing the dialogue.
