HP certifies Caldera V11.2 Rip software for Latex R series

The Caldera Version 11.2 Rip software has been certified to drive the HP Latex R series of printers.

Certification confirms V11.2 can fully support HP Latex R series printers for functionality including printing performance, media management, printer reporting, job generation, job management and application centre integration. Caldera particular areas of strength for V11.2 include white management with special inks for the pre-treatment of substrates such as wood, post treatment for glass printing in sandwich mode, and for white spot colour. It said print and cut workflow is another area in which V11.2 excels, and pointed out that users can optimise media use with the ContourNesting and ExtraMarks features, and achieve better finishing with PrintBleed. V11.2 uses standardised JDF connection, enabling communication with the HP Application Centre Wallart and Signage Suite, and allowing users to benefit from Nexio API and Caldera automation features.
