Xaar is inviting tile manufacturers to its stand at Tecnargilla (24-28 September 2018 in Rimini, Italy) to see its 2001+ printhead family with High Laydown (HL) Technology. On the Xaar stand will be tile samples provided by Indian company Scientifica Tiles to demonstrate how the 720dpi printhead family can replicate small features, such as rock veins and grains of sand.
Effects such as gloss, adhesive, lustre and metallic can be produced with this printhead operating in High Laydown mode - which can discharge up to 170g/m2 at 2m/min line speed.
Alternatively, the Xaar 2001+ printhead can be used in dual colour mode to deliver two different effects, each one providing up to 85g/m2 at 25m/min.
