Litho Supplies companies GAE and Andersons find new owners
Graphica Plus, the Litho Supplies wide-format consumables company trading as Andersons, has been bought out of receivership by All Print Supplies. The news comes as administrator MCR also confirmed the sale of Litho Supplies' finishing business Graphic Art Equipment (GAE) to Horizon Print Finishing Equipment which is run by Tony Hards and Bryan Godwyn, the partnership that sold GAE to Litho Supplies two years ago but who remained directors.
Of GAE's 40 staff 27 have transferred to Horizon which will trade as Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS). Godwyn said: "We are delighted with the patience and loyalty shown by our customers and are pleased to be able to work with them to provide a solution to their business requirements. We have worked closely with the administrators, and now with the suppliers of Graphic Arts to make the transition as simple and smooth a procedure as possible."
Nine staff from Graphica Plus will move over to new owner All Print Supplies. Managing director Kevin Wallace, said: "This is a smart move as it will further position All Print as a leading supplier of print materials. ?We are delighted with the purchase and believe this affirms our strength during these financially uncertain times."
