Brindley makes UK first with :Anapurna M2
Birmingham-based Brindley Design and Print is the first UK company to install an :Anapurna M2, Agfa's high-speed UV curable inkjet system.
"The :Anapurna M2 has revolutionised our business," said Brindley director Mark Plotnek. "The quality is amazing. We have recently won an account from a local authority for all its signage and display work. And we have just started to produce limited run packaging for a major supermarket chain's test products, printing directly onto coated corrugated board."?
Plotnek and co-director Phil Mander bought Brindley three years ago and have increased its annual turnover from around ?100k to ?300k running with just three staff, thanks to the development of its inkjet output. Initially they installed three roll-to-roll inkjet printers then invested in the :Anapurna M2 ?to enable the company to print directly to rigid materials.?
Mander added: "We find the inks for the :Anapurna M2 are good value. The machine also has a number of features to enhance performance. For example, the automatic vacuum system ensures accurate media transportation and the ionizer bar avoids electrostatic on the substrates. It has the ability to print on a wide range of materials with fantastic photorealistic results. The :Anapurna M2 is also very productive, printing 23m2/hr. Then there's borderless printing up to 158cm wide as well as the dual board printing facility. I could go on and on. The :Anapurna M2 has made a tremendous difference to our business."?
