EFI Vutek QS220 extends superwide offering
The new Vutek QS220, a 2m-wide, direct-to-substrate, UV-curing flatbed printer with high-definition print (HDP) quality and superwide productivity, boasts lower ink running costs than traditional wide-format printers according to EFI.

"The QS220 is an all-in-one printer; it has the speed to print 16 boards at 120 x 240cm/hr per hour as well as the ability to print in high definition. Vutek's HDP technology provides up to 1080dpi resolution. It produces four- or six-colour images, and features a seventh channel for six variations of white ink. This configuration means the QS220 is capable of printing colour and white in three independent layers all in one pass to produce applications such as enhanced-definition back-lit displays or layered graphics printed on dark substrates.
