PrintFactory makes key staff changes

PrintFactory has redeployed various senior staff members to support its focus on Europe and the US.

Former head of sales EMEA, Simon Landau, is taking a lead in The Americas, while Toby Burnett is joining the business to continue Landau’s efforts to build a wider network of R&D and distributor functions across EMEA. The latter - one time MD of GMG UK’s division - has already secured new partners in Spain (Digi HiRes) and France (C-Link) and is seeking to establish a similarly strong presence in Germany, Switzerland and the Nordic countries. Burnett said: “It’s exciting to be part of a something that could positively disrupt the sector by making even the most advanced technologies accessible - from SMEs right through to industrial set-ups. In the 25 years I’ve been working in colour management, the PrintFactory model could be the most transformative yet.” Landau is also leveraging the technology’s selling points to secure a stronger foothold in what is already a lucrative market. Setting out to showcase the breadth and depth of the PrintFactory suite, he will highlight the capabilities that come with the company’s newly restructured ‘Production’ and ‘Automation’ packages - ‘Production’ gives users access to a colour management system that links-up devices to create a custom common appearance for output accuracy, while the ‘Automation’ package makes it possible to manage jobs up to the last second. PrintFactory CEO, Erik Strik, said: “We have a clear vision and I’m confident in Simon’s and Toby’s abilities in driving forward our sales and marketing functions in these key territories.
