Spandex acquisition strengthens its presence in Baltic regions

Spandex has acquired Seri Deco Oy, a distributor of wide-format printing equipment, roll and rigid media, and sign making products to the Scandinavian and Baltic markets. From its base in Helsinki, the new Spandex subsidiary serves customers across Finland and Estonia, and its Lithuanian facility services Lithuania and Latvia. Its portfolio includes HP, Roland, Summa and Avery Dennison plus the rigid media, display systems and textiles of Wideco, which it acquired in 2017.

Rod Larson, Spandex CEO, said: "Seri Deco Oy has built its success on the same values that define Spandex worldwide, making it a perfect fit for our organisation."

The core Seri Deco Oy team will remain in place, led by managing director Jesse Heinamaki and commercial director Lassi Suoranta.

Heinamaki said: "We are very excited about the added benefits we will bring to our customers, employees and suppliers under Spandex ownership."
