Sappi brings out new dye-sub paper

Sappi is expanding its portfolio of dye-sublimation papers to meet the rise in personalisation of fashion and home textiles on polyester-based materials.
The Transjet Drive sublimation paper has been developed for good runnability on digital high-speed printers with a glue-belt system, but is said to also be suitable for high-speed printers without a glue-belt system. The smooth reverse side also ensures that the paper does not stick to the adhesive-belt and that it slides away without leaving any residue on the belt. Available in 45 and 55gsm, Transjet Drive is coated so that the ink dries quickly - rolls can be rolled up immediately after printing. All Sappi Transjet sublimation papers are PE-free and contain 100% recyclable pulp.
