Swanline Group has become the main sponsor of the first Corrugated and Print Show, running at The Convention Centre in Liverpool on 24-25 June, and organised by Fespa UK Association and the Sheet Plant Association (SPA) in recognition of the need to unify emerging digital print technologies and corrugated packaging communities.

Mimaki will use ITMA 2019 (20-26 June, Fira de Barcelona, Spain) for the first global showing of a digital textile printer featuring both direct-to-textile and direct-to-transfer print capabilities. It will also provide a sneak preview of its upcoming TA Job Controller software, specifically designed for textile production environments.

The new Arete Combo - capable of printing on both transfer paper and directly onto fabric - has been launched by Korea-based d.gen.

Dublin-based Horizon has ordered a third Durst production system as it continues its expansion programme. The company - which is about to open an extension to its head office on the Navan Road where it has been located for the last 26 years - signed up at Fespa Global for a Durst Rho 1312, fully automated with a Smart4 speed advancement tool that improves speed and productivity by 40%. It is also taking new finishing machinery on board.
