Mimaki to acquire textile specialist La Meccanica
Mimaki has concluded a basic agreement to purchase the stocks of Italian textile specialist La Meccanica Costruzione Tessili. The deal is expected to be concluded before the end of March. Mimaki said the aim is to expand the market share in the European textile and apparel markets.
Lightwords Imaging forecasts 10% annual market growth for wide-format inkjet over next three years
Specialist research and consulting agency Lightwords Imaging is forecasting that the worldwide wide-format digital inkjet market will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 10% for the period 2015-2018, a market that will exceed $24bn in 2018.
CWE Solutions now part of Papergraphics
CWE Solutions has confirmed it is now part of the Papergraphics Group. Screen to unveil new Truepress Jet features at Fespa Digital
Screen Europe will use Fespa Digital in March to unveil further developments to its Truepress Jet 3200UV flatbed printer. However, the upgraded printer is available now and can be seen in action at Screen's demonstration facilities in the UK and Amsterdam.
Notably, Fespa visitors will see the Truepress Jet operating in both roll-to-roll and in flatbed modes on a range of flexible and rigid substrates.
Neschen expands wallpaper range
Neschen has expanded its range of self-produced wallpapers under the ‘Green Wall’ brand. The first products will be shown at Heimtextil in Frankfurt next week (12 – 15 January) in cooperation with Mimaki. They will also be shown at Fespa Digital in March.
CMYUK offers free EFI Vutek training to all UK users
CMYUK is offering free prepress and operator training to all UK EFI Vutek printerusers throughout 2016. The training courses will take place at CMYUK in Shrewsbury from 9am to 5pm. Prepress training courses run 13 Jan, 10 Feb, 17 Feb, 9 Mar, 16 Mar. Vutek refresh training is on 19-20 Jan, 23-24 Feb, 22-23 Mar. Lunch will be provided, and places are first come, first serve basis.
